Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence Division has developed a moldmaking suite to streamline design, and shop floor efficiency. The suite optimizes workflow from prototype to production across a range of industries via the company’s VISI, WORNC, NCSIMUL and datanomix tools.
The HxGN Mould and Die Suite offers an integrated workflow from design/engineering to manufacturing and automation, including advanced predictive tools to streamline processes, cut costs and achieve and process optimization, resulting in efficient, safe and high-quality finishing tool paths for a productive manufacturing environment
VISI is a CAD/CAE/CAM software for mold and die that simplifies mold design with 3D tool design, plastic flow analysis and multiaxis milling to ensure optimal material flow, superior cooling, and reduced cycle times.
The WORKNC tool is a CAM software for two- to five-axis CNC programming of complex models, eliminating machining inefficiencies with two to five-axis CNC programming and automated tool paths to deliver excellent surface finishes, faster setups and high-speed machining.
NCSIMUL CNC simulation software helps validate G-code and optimize machining processes in a virtual environment. It helps manufacturers reduce errors and rework with real-time G-code validation and virtual simulation, ensuring optimized tool paths and issue detection before machining.
Datanomix maximizes machine efficiency with No Operator Input real-time analytics, helping manufacturers improve utilization, reduce downtime and boost productivity.
With Hexagon’s advanced CAD/CAM, simulation and analytics, moldmakers are empowered to accelerate production, eliminate errors and optimize efficiencies. The suite is well suited for moldmakers in automotive, aerospace, medical and consumer goods markets to deliver high-precision molds faster and more cost-effectively.
