Robust Molding, Extrusion Conference Programming in the Works
Molding 2023 to take place Aug. 29-30 in Minnesota; Extrusion 2023 slated for Oct. 10-12 in Indiana.

Editors of Plastics Technology are fast at working putting together conference lineups for its two annual technical programs for injection molding and extrusion.
Let me tell you what we know so far.
Molding 2023 will be held Aug. 29-30 in Minnesota at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. Widely recognized as the most important forum for technical information and networking 鈥媔n injection molding, where attendees will learn tips, techniques, and best practices to implement at their shops from the industry’s top minds. Senior Editor Tony Deligio is assembling the program as I write this. There is a lot of medical molding going on in the Minneapolis area, so you can expect topics to be more focused on that particular end market.

For now, please point your browser to . There, you will find general information about the event as well as a Call for Papers link if you’d like to submit a topic for Tony to consider as part of the program. You can also email Tony directly at tdeligio@ptonline.com.
As was the case in 2022, this year’s Molding Conference will be held alongside Moldmaking 2023, which is run by our sister publication MoldMaking Technology. This is the leading educational forum for mold manufacturers looking to take their 大象传媒 to the next level. Content will be focused on technical innovations, 大象传媒 strategy, and workplace development in the mold manufacturing industry.
Please go to for conference info and click on the Call for Papers link if you’d like to speak. This conference is under the direction of Christina Fuges, editorial director of MoldMaking Technology. You can email her directly at cfuges@gardnerweb.com.
Meanwhile, the Extrusion Conference 2023 will take place Oct. 10-12 at the Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis. This will be a two-and-a-half-day event in which morning sessions will focus on topics of interest to all types of extrusion operations, followed by afternoon talks that hone in on specific processes: film/sheet; pipe/profile/tubing; and compounding.

The Extrusion Conference has been a staple event since it was launched in 2015. This year’s program will have a new wrinkle:. All presentations will have a sustainability focus, in keeping with a trend that is taking the plastics processing industry by storm.
