ENTEK Opens New Plant in Nevada
Builder of twin-screw compounding extruders says it needs extra space to meet demand.
ENTEK Manufacturing has opened a manufacturing and engineering facility in Henderson, Nev. The new 98,000 ft2 building will be home to wear parts production, fabrication and assembly, and engineering for twin-screw, corotating compounding extruders.
“We are expanding our ´óÏó´«Ã½ to better meet the needs of our customers’ growing ´óÏó´«Ã½es,” notes Kim Medford, company president. “Our greatest success comes from ensuring the success of the product manufacturers that our equipment supports.”
Linda Campbell, ENTEK’s v.p. of sales, notes the company is experiencing record growth and needed the additional space to keep up with demand. “We recently expanded our machine shop at our Lebanon, Oregon headquarters, and we already need more space, and more workers, to keep up with our wear parts ´óÏó´«Ã½,” she says.

Medford said ENTEK is investing over $10 millionin new equipment for the Nevada facility and will begin interviewing and hiring immediately. She expects to have 50 or more new employees by late 2022. “Once fully operational, our new facility will allow us to stock parts for rapid customer response,” she says.
ENTEK’s ´óÏó´«Ã½ outlook is strong, adds Campbell. “We have an aggressive forecast for new ´óÏó´«Ã½ in 2022 and 2023,” she says. “This expansion is the first step in what we expect to be a very active period for our company.”
