Dri-Air Unveils Dryer Trade-Up Program
Trade-in value of the used equipment will be deducted from the price of the new dryer to make the transaction as seamless as possible.
Dri-Air has launched a TradeUP program that will make it easier for processors to access state-of-the-art drying technology.
Under the program, the trade-in value of the used dryer will be deducted from the price of the new dryer to make the transaction as seamless as possible. This program will run through Dri-Air. Processors can trade in either a Dri-Air unit or one from any other dryer supplier.
To get the ball rolling, processors need to:
- Furnish a serial number of the old equipment;
- Include photos, including inside the control box if possible;
- Indicate whether there are any loaders/receivers with the dryer;
- Advise if the equipment running; and
- Provide a location of dryers and can they be loaded on a truck.
Dri-Air has put in place a system to make it as easy as possible to exchange the equipment once it has this information. Dri-Air will:

- Provide processors with a value of the trade in;
- Quote the new dryer with a deduction for the trade in value;
- Ship the new dryer to customers once the offer is accepted and provide return labels to send the trade in back to it;
- Provide a skid that the customer can re-use the skid to re pack the old dryer; and
- Have its logistics company contact the customer directly to arrange pick up of the old dryer at its cost.
