Beacon MedTech Solutions Names New President
The Massachusetts-based medical molder and contract manufacturer has appointed industry veteran Jim Colony.
Beacon MedTech Solutions announced that Jim Colony will serve as the company’s president effective immediately. Colony initially joined the Leominster, Massachusetts-based company in an interim capacity in March 2023, becoming president following confirmation by Beacon Manufacturing Group’s board of directors. Colony has more than 30 years of executive-level experience in operations and strategy, leading new product introductions. He held prior leadership roles at international manufacturers Anderson Power and Hughes Aircraft, with experience in aerospace, medical and plastics manufacturing.
Beacon MedTech supports customers in early-stage new and next-generation product development and scaling for commercialization from Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and tooling to manufacturing and assembly. The company injection molds thermoplastics and thermoset materials, including LSR, with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001-certified operations. Beacon MedTech has more than 25 injection molding machines, ranging in clamp force up to 900 tons, with Class 7 and Class 8 cleanroom molding capabilities.
