Electrolux wants you! Specifically, the appliance manufacturer is actively seeking to expand and enhance its base of injection molders serving the Southeast region of the U.S., primarily to supply two major manufacturing plants and its national parts distribution facility in the Carolinas. Electrolux will host an event on Dec. 1 for more than 50 prospective suppliers near the company’s manufacturing plant in Kinston, NC.  Said Geoff Pollak, vice president, purchasing, Electrolux Major Appliances, North America: “This meeting represents a unique opportunity for qualified injection molding companies to explore significant opportunities to become a supplier to Electrolux. We have a preference for establishing relationships with local and regional ´óÏó´«Ã½es that are interested in helping us build a supply base for our facilities in the Southeast. Our objective is to establish a new supply base for these plants and our national parts facility, and we welcome the opportunity to work with new and existing suppliers."

At the event, molders will learn about the specific part requirements under consideration. They will tour the manufacturing facilities in Kinston, and have individual discussions with Electrolux representatives.
