Ticona Brands Will Become ‘Celanese’
Move applies to engineered plastics such as Hostaform/Celcon acetal, GUR UHMW-PE, and Celstran long-fiber reinforced thermoplastics, among others.
Celanese Corp., Irving, Texas, is moving to “simplify its brand architecture” and capture in a single brand name—Celanese—the full suite of Celanese technology, resources, and products. Among the changes to come, a number of its current brands will “fade” and be replaced by Celanese. That applies to Ticona engineered plastics such as Hostaform/Celcon acetal, GUR UHMW-PE, and Celstran long-fiber reinforced thermoplastics (LFRT). Also affected are EVA products Ateva and VitaDose.
