DuPont Boosts PPA Capacity
Supporting demand in automotive and consumer electronics.
, Wilmington, Del., has increased production of its Zytel HTN polyphthalamide (PPA) at its Richmond, Va., facility by 10% to meet growing global market demand in automotive and consumer electronics. Demand is growing in automotive because the material can stand up to long-term exposure to heat and chemicals in underhood and powertrain components. In electronics and hand-held devices, Zytel HTN offers dimensional stability and ability to withstand lead-free soldering.
