Bekum America Corp. Announces Promotions
Steven London is named president and Chief Operating Officer.
, Williamston, Mich, has announced several promotions. Steven London is now the president and Chief Operating Officer, effective Jan. 1, 2016. Previously, London held the position of executive vice president and COO. London earned a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Ferris State University and an MBA from the University of Michigan. In addition, London currently serves on the Society of Plastics Industry (SPI) National Board of Directors. In 2013, London earned a certificate from Duke University Executive Education Leadership Program and was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award from Ferris State University in 2014.
Gary Carr has been promoted to vice president of sales. Carr previously held the position of director of sales. Carr earned a B.S. degree in Plastics Engineering Technology from Ferris State University. Carr also serves as a director for the Blow Mold Division of Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE).
Tony Piro is now regional sales manager and will manage the West Coast sales territory for BAC. Piro graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering in 2007. After working in the compact/light construction equipment industry for seven years, Piro started his plastics industry career at BAC in 2014 as a sales project engineer.
