System Improves Pellet Cooling
Billed as especially suited for high melt index or peroxided polymers.
At October’s K 2022 show in Dusseldorf, Maag will display a complete AMN Central Injection System (CIS) consisting of a 1500-mm dia die plate with a central water injection and sword-shaped knives
The CIS was designed to improve pellet cooling and ejection and is said to be especially suited for high melt index or peroxided polymers. The technology was developed by AMN DPI, a French company Maag acquired in May 2022.
