One-day, on-site equipment setup and training assistance program for all types of Conair auxiliaries.

SureLaunch is the name of a one-day, on-site equipment setup and training assistance program introduced by Conair to help processors that need to commission new auxiliary equipment quickly and economically with in-house personnel.

The service targets processors with personnel capable of handling most aspects of auxiliary equipment installation and commissioning, but could benefit from an element of expert assistance to ensure that new equipment is properly installed, fully tested and configured optimally, and that operators are trained and ready to work with it in one day, Conair says.

“We created SureLaunch to help customers who know the mechanical aspects of equipment installation, yet want the assurance of an OEM-trained technician to ensure that equipment, electronics and automation are installed and configured correctly to start up and run precisely as needed,” says Jared Helfrich, Conair’s VP of customer care.

The SureLaunch program offers a day of on-site help from a Conair expert to assist with all aspects of auxiliary equipment setup and training. It includes:

• Setup, configuration and programming of equipment components and controls

• Performance verification, sensor and setpoint adjustments

• Systems customizations, networking and communications setup

• Preventive maintenance recommendations

• Two hours of staff training to ensure teams are fully equipped to operate with confidence

Conair says SureLaunch is well suited for:

• Net 30 or “standalone” equipment purchases where rapid installation is critical (for example, user-installed auxiliary equipment that is not covered under a project management or systems agreement)

• Processors that want expert setup, training and performance verification.

“While most startups are straightforward, some require a seasoned professional to optimize the equipment’s capabilities to specific user needs,” Helfrich explains. “SureLaunch eliminates frustration, reduces downtime and expedites our customers’ path to optimization and profitability within a single shift.”

SureLaunch is available to processors throughout the U.S. at a cost of $1,950 per day, plus airfare, if needed. The program is available for all types of Conair auxiliary equipment: blending, conveying, drying, downstream extrusion, heat transfer, material storage and size deduction.
