Precision Mixing in Large Dimensions
Biggest-ever MTI mixer will be shipped to PVC pipe processor right after the show.
The MTI Flex-line type M 2000/K 8000 from MTI Mischtechnik is a heating/cooling mixer combination that provides 8000 liters of cooling vessel capacity while measuring more 23-ft long and 16.5-ft high. Right after the show, the machine will be shipped to Northern Pipe Products Inc., a processor of PVC pipe serving the Midwestern USA and Canada.
With the installation of this system—said to be the largest heating/cooling mixer combination MTI has ever supplied to the USA—Northern Pipe will almost double its mixing capacity.
The heating/cooling mixer combination is rated for a typical batch volume of about 2100 lb, so it can provide 16,600 lb/hr. Like all MTI Flex-line mixers, the machine meets highest standards of mixing quality even with exacting mixing tasks. Designed on a modular principle, these mixers can be put to use in virtually any application because their sizes, drive units and equipment options can be individually configured.
