Portable Chillers Now Capture Energy Data
In addition to energy consumption, the Microgel digital controls allow processors to review temperatures, pressures and flow rates.
Frigel’s line of Microgel machine-side chiller/temperature control units (TCUs) with digital controls now lets users capture, display and record historical process cooling energy data. Frigel will display the newest Microgel chiller/TCU at Booth W193 and in the new Bottle Zone at Booth S14085.
In addition to energy consumption, the Microgel digital controls allow processors to review temperatures, pressures and flow rates. All operating data are stored in a historical log and accessible via a touch screen. Processors can use the information to adjust the unit for specific molding conditions and optimal efficiencies.
