Oil-Filtration System Comes in Three Sizes
PCS Company says the new Filtroil Chrome High Pressure (CHP) oil filters offer a bypass filtration system that filters hybrid and hydraulic injection molding machine oil down to 1 µm.
PCS Company has introduced the new Filtroil Chrome High Pressure (CHP) oil filters for use with hydraulic and hybrid injection molding machines. Utilizing bypass filtration to clean particulate down to 1 µm, PCS says the Filtroil can maintain oil cleanliness levels several grades purer than brand new oil.
Three units are available: the 2020-F; 3020 and the 4020-F. Flow rates for each model are 0.50, 0.65 and 1.20 gpm, respectively, while water holding capacities are 20, 24 and 48 ounces. The oil-filtration systems house more than 400 yards of treated cellulose tightly-wound fiber that filters the oil through several inches of media. The result is maximum contaminant holding capacity and moisture removal from the oil. PCS says field retrofit kits are included for easy mounting to the molding machine. Filter elements can be changed without any tools, and each unit includes a shut-off valve for filter changes on the fly.
