Mastip said it has applied its more than three decades of experience in thermoplastic injection molding to the requirements and exact thermal profiles needed by LSR molding. Mastip said its offering features the latest technologies in the space, including a cold deck design so that the mold plates, manifold and nozzles are fitted with cooling channels to ensure the mixed material is kept in its uncured condition as long as possible until it enters the heated cavity plates for curing. Valve gates also allow for optimal control over the injection cycle, while ensuring the flow channels and gates are free of cured material for a perfect shot cycle to cycle.
