New Mid-Range Press-Side Granulators
Two compact models from Wittmann Battenfeld for 88 to 110 lb/hr have larger hopper openings and fixed or rotatable material outlets.
At the recent Fakuma 2021 show in Germany, Wittmann Group displayed two new mid-sized models of its G-Max compact beside-the-press granulators. New G-Max 23 can process up to 88 lb/hr and is suitable for presses up to 240 tons. New G-Max 33 is suited for up to 110 lb/hr and presses up to 500 tons. Like other models in the series, these screened granulators have a “hybrid” rotor—a staggered open rotor—and V-belt drive with automatic tensioning standard. Wittmann (represented by Wittmann Battenfeld in the U.S.) also notes that the design of the entire G-Max series has been standardized on the design of the G-Max 13. Accordingly, the two new models come with larger hopper openings and with a choice of fixed or rotatable material outlet.
