New Cart for Hot Runner Control Units
Hasco’s new Co-Cart transport trolley allows the hot runner control unit to be positioned safely next to the mold and machine.
Hasco says its the new Co-Cart transport trolley allows molders to position a hot runner control directly adjacent to the tool, putting it in proximity to the machine control system and allowing molders to quickly make process adjustments.
Hasco notes that as a supplier of hot runner control units in different designs, Hasco has worked to meet the many specific requirements of operators. Molders face the challenge of needing the hot runner controller to be positioned close to the machine control, but in such a way that avoids the risk of collisions and damage. Hasco notes that press-side space is often at a premium, and operators often have to resort to make-shift solutions.
With the new Co-Cart transport trolley, Hasco says the control unit can be positioned safely right next to the mold. The robust cart was designed specifically for hot runner control units, featuring smooth rollers for safe movement. The slip-resistant table top and raised edges ensure that the controller can neither slip nor tip over. A plastic box in the lower compartment of the Co Cart provides storage space for all connecting cables, preventing them from hanging down and interfering with the cart when it’s being moved. The cart also features a drawer for storing operating instructions and common spare parts, such as fuses, and it can also be easily secured by using the brake on the rollers.
