Medical Grade Injection Molding Machine Line is Cleanroom Ready
JSW America says the J100ADS-110U medical grade molding machine has been optimized to prevent dust, rust and other contaminants.
Global supplier of all-electric injection molding machines JSW America has launched the new J100ADS-110U injection molding machine, which was specially developed to meet the most stringent requirements for operating in clean room environments.
Featuring components and enhancements to prevent the formation of dust and rust, the J100ADS-110U machine features J-Mag integrated magnetic platens, bushing-free tie-bars, powder-coated sheet metal and a purge cover hood vent. It also features a stainless steel barrel and purge covers, with stainless steel also used for the purge resin trays; safety door rail and wheel; and other components.
The machine utilizes JSW’s J-Wise remote machine-monitoring system, which grants remote access to the machine controls so any issues impacting production can be identified. J-Wise also allows access to product/part traceability, quality control and other key machine features.
The J100ADS-110U debuted at MD&M West (April 12-14; Anaheim, Calif.) in automation supplier Yushin America’s booth. That machine featured a clamp force of 110 tons. A JSW spokesperson told Plastics Technology that the full line of medical-grade machines is available now to be built to customer specifications with tonnages ranging from 50 to 280 tons.
