Low-Volume Dryer for Engineering Resins
Target markets are low-volume, high-precision specialty applications in automotive as well as in electronics, connectors and technical molding.
The LMD desiccant resin dryer for Matsui America has been designed to enable consistent and reliable resin drying for highly engineered and hygroscopic materials with low volume throughput. Like the machine builder’s MJ Series line, this new series reportedly offers optimized energy consumption, 10-year desiccant life, standard automatic loading, and accurate and reliable drying performance via a consistent -40° dewpoint supply.

The dryer mounts directly to the machine feedthroat of the processing machine. The LMD is suited to dry a wide array of nylons, elastomers, PC/ABS, PPS, LCP, PET, ABS, PBT, PC, COP and medical-grade PP.
The new dryer is available in two models: the LMD 4.5, with a capacity of up to 10 lbs; and the LMD 6.0, with a capacity of up to 13.2 lbs. Both are available immediately and ship from Matsui America stock.
Target markets are low-volume, high-precision specialty applications in automotive as well as in electronics, connectors and technical molding, Matusi America notes.
