Fast-Response Hot Runner Controller
MCS hot runner control systems from PCS company are designed to optimize performance, communication and control.
MCS hot runner control systems reportedly offers controller functions that the company says can be operated safely even by untrained users.
PCS says that the machine’s fast control response makes it universally effective for the control of both standard hot runner systems and high-performance applications. Its integrated interfaces are designed to optimize communication between the controller and the injection molding machine, which is said to enable comprehensive support and error detection functions that help reduce costs and downtime.
Standard controller range for the MCS hot runner control system is six to 120 zones. Molders can access data and control systems on-site or remotely, as needed.
Additional features include:
- Leak detection
- Softstart function
- Digital control of inputs
- Sequentially heat or cool individual or multiple zones
- Tool storage
- Group heating to prevent thermal imbalance
- Zone diagnostics
- Controlled heating in the event of a thermocouple failure
- Service file containing technical data
- Industry standard power and thermocouple connectors
PCS provides replacement items and accessories for the MCS temperature control systems, including HMI touchscreen monitors, various communication cables, floorstands and monitor mounting stands.
