Dual-Shaft Mixer Designed for Increased Shear
Rotor and slotted stator mixing head reportedly provides more advanced deagglomeration and emulsification capabilities than high-speed disperser blade.
Ross now incorporates a high shear rotor/stator into its Dual-Shaft Mixer to meet applications requiring for more intense shearing and homogenization.

Instead of a conventional high-speed disperser blade, the rotor and slotted stator mixing head—often called a homogenizer—reportedly provides more advanced deagglomeration and emulsification capabilities. Complementing the high-shear mixer, a two-wing anchor promotes bulk flow and uniform batch temperature.
The pictured ROSS Model CDA-25 features dry-running Double FlexiLip seals on both agitator shafts suitable for vacuum operation up to 29.5-in. Hg and includes a portable mixing vessel with heating/cooling jacket.
