Quick-Delivery Extrusion-Control System
Package is available for various extrusion processes, including film, pipe, wire, and compounding.
Integrated Control Technologies (ICT) has unveiled the PDQ Series Extruder Control System that reportedly blends three components that maximize the investment: Price, Delivery and Quality.
Designs are available for various extrusion processes. The PDQMono was designed specifically for single-layer blown film lines where the gearbox, barrel and screw are in good condition, but the controls are faulty or beginning to fail. This system reportedly has all the features found in larger systems and in a package that can be used to replace any aging controls.
PDQPipe, meantime, provides diagnostics, data, protective features, and remote connectivity. The PDQWire offers flexibility in addition to consistency; it has the same parts, same screen design, same panel layout, and even the same wiring number, which translates to less training for maintenance and line operators. The PDQCompounder and Pelletizer systems bring sophistication and durability to a product that is said to be easy to understand and use.
ICT will be participating at the , September 21-23, Rosemont, Ill.
