Vertellus Acquires Polyscope Polymers
The move expands the company European production capabilities and adds specialty SMA compounds to its portfolio.
has acquired The Netherlands’ B.V. (U.S. office in Novi, Mich.), a global leader in the development and production of SMA copolymers for applications ranging from automotive and electronics to specialty coatings and ink markets. With the addition of Polyscope’s complementary product portfolio and advanced manufacturing capabilities, Vertellus, a manufacturer of proprietary multi-purpose modifiers, compatibilizers and chain extenders for both virgin and recycled thermoplastics, expands its European production capabilities and extends its reach in high-growth end markets. (Indianapolis-based Vertellus is owned by Pritzker Private Capital and management.)

Polyscope operates a state-of-the-art production facility strategically located in Geleen, The Netherlands, and serves as a key partner to more than 300 customers across over 35 countries.
