Sodick Plustech is hosting no-stress, informal Coffee Talks at the Sodick Plustech booth (#527) during PTXPO 2025, which runs March 18-20 at the Donald Stephens Convention Center, in Rosemont, Illinois. The company wants to make it easy for event attendees to engage with top industry experts in an approachable, interactive format.
Plustech is a provider of precision injection molding machines and the exclusive North American distributor of Sodick injection molding machines. It is providing a central hub where visitors can grab a cup of coffee and gain insights from leading companies which use its technology, including Alba Enterprises, Cold Jet, Nexus, Orbital Plastics Consulting, Polyplastics and Westfall Technik.
“The Coffee Talk format is all about creating an open and easygoing space for industry professionals to connect, learn and exchange ideas,” says Kohei Shinohara, senior vice president of Plustech. “Our hope is that attendees can engage with leading experts, discover the latest innovations and walk away with valuable knowledge, all in one place.”
The company is inviting visitors to visit its booth for thought-provoking discussions over coffee, exploring innovative technologies and expert insights that address the evolving demands of precision plastics processing.
The Coffee Talks are set up to offer a little something for everyone, including and solutions (Alba Enterprises); innovations and technology in LSR dosing systems as well as molds and cold runner technology (Nexus); materials innovation (Polyplastics); and precision tooling and production solutions (Westfall Technik). In addition, Orbital Plastics Consulting will be there to discuss training, part design, processing optimization, tooling review and material selection. Also, Cold Jet will be sharing insights on dry ice cleaning as well as hosting live demonstrations throughout the show.
The company promises a networking hub where industry experts — including representatives from these six vendors — converge to share cutting-edge solutions for some of today’s most challenging molding issues.
“At Mold Craft, DBA Westfall, we’ve spent 60 years perfecting the technology required to mold parts as small as, or smaller than, standard pellets. But precision mold design alone isn’t enough,” says Jim Liddell, director of Business Development, Tooling for Westfall. “Success in micromolding depends on a machine that delivers absolute consistency. That’s why we trust and recommend Sodick Plustech. Their unique two-stage injection system ensures precise control over temperature, pressure, and fill volume — critical factors for achieving repeatable, high-quality results in micromolding."
Shinohara says that attendeees can experience the future of molding technology in a welcoming atmosphere that fosters meaningful connections and sparks innovative ideas. “Whether you’re looking for technical expertise, networking opportunities or just a great cup of coffee, Coffee Talk at PTXPO will deliver,” Shinohara says.
