Plastiblow, an Italian maker of extrusion blow molding machinery, has formed a new service and spare-parts organization in North America. Plastiblow NA, LLC is based in Miami, Fla., at the headquarters of Globeius, Inc., Plastiblow’s exclusive distributor in the U.S. and Canada (for details, see April ’21 Close-Up). Its sister company Plastec USA, sells Plastiblow machines in Mexico. The move will enable Plastiblow to provide better technical assistance and parts availability in this hemisphere. The company is already stocking parts at Globeius and eventually plans to bring machinery to Miami and open a lab for customer trials.
