Netstal Relaunches Brand in Mexico
Netstal has named iTech, based in Querétaro, as its sales agency for Mexico.
As Netstal continues to relaunch its ´óÏó´«Ã½ globally, it announced the addition of iTech-Global to represent it in Mexico. Based in Querétaro, iTech-Global has a presence throughout Mexico and subject matter expertise in the same market segments of packaging and medical plastic processing as Netstal’s core ´óÏó´«Ã½. Netstal says its Mexican customers and prospects should expect a higher Netstal presence and greater responsiveness in the market as a result of the announcement.
Under terms of the agreement, Netstal will continue to operate the service and spare parts ´óÏó´«Ã½ internally from its site in Querétaro. In a press release, Doug Haberman, president of Netstal’s U.S. subsidiary in Hebron, Ky. and sales director for the Americas region, said iTech’s experience and position in the PET preforms and packaging segments are extremely complementary to Netstal’s core competencies.
At the beginning of 2014, Netstal had announced a strengthening of its sales and service structures in Mexico, noting at the time that its most important application sectors were the markets for beverage packaging, closures, thin-wall packaging and medical technology. In 2021, KraussMaffei, which merged all its operating divisions, including Netstal, into one brand in 2019, announced that Netstal would return as an independent unit.
