MGS Promotes Shawn Krenke
The integrated manufacturing company named Krenke its Chief Technology Officer, Senior Vice President of Automation.
Molder, moldmaker, and automation cell supplier MGS Mfg. Group (Germantown, Wisc.) has promoted Shawn Krenke to be its Chief Technology Officer and Senior Vice President of Automation. In this newly created position, Krenke will be responsible for the development and integration of systems that automate the production of complex products.
In addition, he will help the development of automation technologies, which include multi-shot equipment, vision, inspection, assembly and more. He will also support the ongoing integration of iMGS and advanced technologies throughout MGS’ North American and European operations following the earlier acquisition of Formteknik.
Krenke has been with MGS for 22 years, working in several automation and engineering leadership positions, including most recently as Vice President of the Automation Group, which he helped create. Krenke began his career at MGS after graduating from Moraine Park Technical College.
