Plastics Technology is bringing the world of extrusion to Indiana at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, October 10-12 for . During this event, ´óÏó´«Ã½ owners, plant managers, process engineers and manufacturing personnel will be brought up to speed on technology developments impacting all types of extrusion operations.

Sustainability is driving decisions in the plastics processing market worldwide, including the world of extrusion. As a result, the focus of this year’s Extrusion Conference will be on sustainability. This means all presentations should address that subject in a meaningful way. This could mean source reduction; how to convey, dry, blend, feed recycled materials; innovations in “green” resins/biopolymers/additives; minimizing scrap; screw designs for reclaim/biomaterials; expediting product changeovers; utilizing more energy-efficient machinery; and so forth.

Each day will consist of a General Session that will be of interest to all extrusion processors, as well as an afternoon of concurrent sessions that will drill down into specific processes: Film, Sheet, Compounding, and Pipe/Profile/Tubing.
