Braskem Acquires Filament Supplier Taulman3D

The acquisition expands Braskem’s portfolio of 3D polyolefin-based filaments to nylon, recycled PETG and PET.

Braskem has acquired , a leading 3D filament supplier of nylon, recycled PETG, and PET filaments to aerospace, automotive, healthcare, industrial, government and higher education professionals. The acquisition of the Linton, Ind., company is reportedly a perfect complement to Braskem’s existing portfolio of next-generation 3D printing filaments (PE, PP, carbon fiber, glass fiber & recycled polymers). Braskem offers solutions across technologies such as Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF), Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), and high-speed pellet extrusion. The taulman3D filament and polymer offerings include:
