Black + Decker Power Tools Housed in Chemically Recycled PET
Each power tool contains the equivalent of eight to 18 single-use 16.9 fl-oz water bottles.

The new Black + Decker reviva line has housings molded of Eastman’s Tritan Renew, incorporating 50% chemically recycled PET.
In October, Black + Decker, a Stanley Black & Decker brand, launched the reviva line of handheld power tools with housings molded of Eastman’s Tritan Renew proprietary copolyester. Tritan Renew is made from 50% chemically recycled PET. What’s more, through a recently announced partnership with recycler , Stanley Black & Decker is offering consumers the opportunity to recycle its products, including the reviva line, at the end of their useful life.
The reviva line currently includes a drill driver, detail sander, cordless jigsaw and screwdriver. Each of these incorporates an amount of recycled material equivalent to between four and 18 single-use 16.9 fl-oz PET water bottles. Additions to the reviva line were due by the end of 2022, including a laser level, hammer drill, oscillating tool and hand vacuum.
