Banach to Lead Cast Film, Sheet, Coatings at Reifenhäuser
Flat film and sheet veteran has worked for both suppliers and processors.
Reifenhäuser Inc. has named Matthew Banach vice president, sales of cast film, sheet, coating for North America.
Banach has decades of experience in those sides of the extrusion ´óÏó´«Ã½ from both the supplier and processor side. He has worked for sheet extrusion machine builder Processing Technologies International; thermoforming machine maker OMV; and processors Dart Container/Solo Cup and Pactiv. Most recently, he was with Global Process Solutions (GPS), a company he founded that provided consulting services for the packaging industry.
Says Steve DeSpain, vice president of Reifenhäuser Inc., “We are pleased to

and has experience in leading positions both on the processing and

Among Reifenhäuser’s products offerings for which Banach will be responsible is the Value PET line of co-rotating twin-screw extruders, which enables direct extrusion of recycled PCR PET material without the need for upstream cleaning and drying process
