Advanced Drainage Systems Announces Donation to Support Water Protection

ADS Foundation will give $500,000 to the Nature Conservancy, in support of water protection efforts across four states.

, a manufacturer of corrugated pipe and one of the largest recyclers in the U.S., announced its foundation would make a $500,000 gift to the over the next three years.

The gift will support work to create water project demonstration sites, enhance freshwater resources, engage community stakeholders, forge equitable access to water, restore natural infrastructure, and foster potential volunteer employee engagement opportunities with ADS and other companies. These efforts are aimed at improving water conservation in California, Florida, North Carolina, and Texas.

ADS recycled over 600 million lb of HDPE from consumer and industrial products into its water-management solutions last year and its history and operations were that topic of on-site reporting in our October 2021 issue.

“This gift will allow us to focus on outcomes such as watershed restoration, water protection, enhanced community engagement and access, and the right policies, strategies, and tools to forge resilient and healthy waters across the country, ” said Michael Reuter, Midwest division director at the Nature Conservancy.
