According to ABS, the Sasquatch is designed for high-output efficiency while minimizing power use. The unit supports both in-line trim system feed and roll feed, offering the ability to use both simultaneously. Unlike other systems, it requires no preprocessing or size reduction, streamlining the recycling process. With the smallest footprint on the market, Sasquatch maximizes production space efficiency without compromising performance. Additionally, its built-in trim pulling nip ensures material conveyance into the extruder.
The trial area offers 2,500 square feet of dedicated space where customers can:
- Send material samples for testing
- Visit in person to see their materials processed into pellets and learn about machine capabilities firsthand
- Test finished pellets immediately on ABS blending equipment to evaluate performance
Currently, ABS can process sample film rolls using the roll feed port on the Sasquatch unit. ABS expects that the hands-on experience will ensure the customers will fully understand the potential of the Sasquatch unit and how it can benefit their operations.
