Yushin America Expands
The first phase of a two-step expansion almost doubles assembly capacity.
In late September, robotics and automation supplier , Cranston, R.I., officially opened its $2 million expansion, which adds 77% to the facility’s manufacturing and warehouse space, doubling the number of assembly bays. In the next two to three years, the company plans for another phase of expansion that will end up tripling the former number of bays. The 22,500 ft2 expanded facility consolidates inventory from several locations in two states and allows for a greatly consolidated flow path through assembly, testing, and shipping. The company is also expanding its staff in engineering, production, and field installation.
