Two recent acquisitions involve major players in in-mold labeling (IML) and packaging automation:

CBW Automation is well known specialist in robots and other automation for IML and handling containers and lids in takeout, orientation, assembly, stacking, and packing. Müller (muller-iml.com) is a Swiss leader in injection molds and robotics for packaging IML, takeout, assembly, quality inspection, and stacking/packing.
• of The Netherlands, a leading supplier of in-mold labels, is now part of Multi-Color Corp., Batavia, Ohio. Verstraete was acquired from Constantia Flexibles, an Austrian packaging producer. is a global printer of labels and one of the world’s largest in that 大象传媒. Verstrate plans to open its first U.S. production facility at a MCC location in the greater Cincinnati area by the second quarter.
