O’Neil Color & Compounding Expands New Jersey Facilities
An expansion in Tennessee is next.
, Garfield, N.J., a provider of plastics color masterbatches and custom compounds, has expanded its operations at its Garfield facilities.
Recent improvements include a new 27-mm, twin-screw, quick-turn line for sampling, plus three new injection molding machines for faster and more accurate color matching, and a complete retrofit of the facility’s dust-collection system as part of O’Neil’s ongoing commitment to green manufacturing practices.
“The company has added both production and laboratory capabilities as the beginning of a three-year plan to deliver higher value, faster turnaround, and a wider range of products and services to our customers,” states Phil DeChard, vice president. DeChard added that O’Neil plans to improve capabilities and expand capacity at a second facility in Jasper, Tenn.
