With revenues of $1.3 billion in 2015, AdvanSix is a leading supplier of nylon 6, sold under the Aegis brand, for production of engineered plastics, films, fibers, and filaments used in a range of applications from automotive and electronic components to food and industrial packaging. The company also produces caprolactam, the main feedstock for producing nylon. Its competitive advantage include its sustainable, cost-advantaged position, vertically-integrated manufacturing, global reach, and diverse revenue sources.
