Nexeo Solutions to Distribute Albis Plastics' Nylon Compounds in North America
Albis’ Altech and Altech Eco nylon 6 and 66 prime and recycled compounds are made in the new Duncan, South Carolina compounding facility.
A distribution agreement is underway between Albis Plastics Corp., Duncan, S.C., and Nexeo Solutions, The Woodlands, Texas, whereby the latter will distribute within North America Albis’ Altech and Altech Eco prime and recycled nylon 6 and 66 specialty compounds. Both product lines are manufactured at the Duncan compounding facility which went into operation in third quarter 2017—the first time Albis Plastics began its own manufacturing in North America. Previously, its products were produced by a local tolling partner or imported from Europe.
