Mitsui Expands PP Compounding for U.S. Automotive Markets
WEB EXCLUSIVE: Mitsui Chemicals’ Advanced Composites, Inc. affiliate, Sidney, Ohio, has completed the second phase of its 46.3 million lb/yr expansion of PP compounds and TPOs to meet U.S. automotive demand.
WEB EXCLUSIVE: Mitsui Chemicals’ Advanced Composites, Inc. affiliate, Sidney, Ohio, has completed the second phase of its 46.3 million lb/yr expansion of PP compounds and TPOs to meet U.S. automotive demand. Coupled with the first phase, completed earlier this year, this boosts the company’s annual capacity at this site to over 90 million lb.
Meanwhile, ' Mexicana affiliate has completed a 28.7 million lb/yr expansion of automotive PP compounds and TPOs at San Francisco de Los Romo, Mexico.
