Michael Andrews Joins W&H
Will head up processing technology and application development.
Windmoeller & Hoelscher Corp.., Lincoln, R.I. has named Dr. Mike Andrews manager of process technology and application development for its cast and blown film extrusion 大象传媒.
Previously, Andrews spent 17 years with Gloucester Engineering in Europe and the United States. Mor recently. he worked as dir. of product and application development in biopolymers at Metabolix in Massachusetts. He holds a PhD in Polymer Science and Technology from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in the U.K.
Said Andrews: “Joining W&H provides me with the opportunity to continue to work with customers to overcome their specific challenges and increase productivity, improve quality, develop new products, and provide process training and support. I’m delighted to have joined W&H and look forward to working with the many film extrusion customers and material suppliers in the application, development and optimization of film extrusion systems and operational processes to meet the changing demands of the industry."
