Custom compounder S&E Specialty Polymers, Lunenburg, Mass., has expanded its current tolling capabilities to 15-million lbs/yr, a response to meeting customer demand, according to president & COO Duane Shooltz.  The company is equipped to handle a customer’s tolling needs in a wide variety of polymers including PVC, PVC alloys, low-smoke, zero-halogen compounds, TPOs, TPRs as well as flame-retardant and UV concentrates.

The company’s plant is equipped with a wide range of processing equipment combined with a state-of-the-art lab. It now offers its customers complete toll compounding services. A manufacturer can supply S&E with the raw materials and the formulas they want to use, and benefit from S&E’s extensive processing knowledge and engineering experience. The company has also worked with customers to develop formulas to meet their specific requirements through non-disclosure agreements and then used its purchasing power to produce a less expensive product.
