Kiefel Buys Bosch Sprang
Machine builder adds supplier of tooling for cup thermoforming.
Thermoforming machine builder will be adding tooling to its product mix. The firm, based in Freilassing, Germany (U.S. office in Portsmouth, N.H.), has announced plans to acquire . , Sprang-Capelle, Netherlands, which makes tilt molds for cup production. Both parties have signed a purchase agreement, which is subject to government sign-off.

Halletz. "The range of services supplied by Bosch Sprang also perfectly matches Kiefel's portfolio as a manufacturer of thermoforming machines, while enhancing our ability to serve the highly demanding tooling needs of the (cup) segment.”
