Italian Compounder Starts Up U.S. Production
The So.F.Ter Group has brought on line its first U.S. plant to produce a broad range of compounds.
Italy’s (U.S. office in Lebanon, Tenn.) has started production of its first U.S. compounding plant with initial annual capacity of 50 million/lbs of a broad range of compounds, which included 18 basic resins, ranging from engineering plastics to TPEs and TPVs.
With the opening of the U.S. headquarter, the So.F.Ter Group expects to further strengthen its presence in the Americas, where it can now offer its complete range of products in synergy with its manufacturing plants in Mexico and Brazil. One of the world’s largest independent compounders, So.F, Ter specializes in the automotive, appliance, construction, electrical/electronics, footwear and sports industries.
