Trexel President And CEO Resigns To Start Consulting Firm
The firm, Eventus Global, will advise small and mid-sized plastic companies in expanding its global market presence.
Steve Braig, previous president & CEO of Wilmington-based Trexel, left the company at the end of the fiscal year effective June 30, 2015. During Braig's tenure over the last five years, the company has increased its revenues, expanded the European organization, established subsidiaries in Japan and China and has positioned Trexel as a leading process in lightweighting injection molded automotive parts.
Trexel has retained an executive search firm to recruit for the company’s vacant leadership position.
Taking with him 25 years of CEO experience in the plastics and capital equipment industries, Braig has started .
Eventus Global advises U.S.-based plastics and plastics equipment companies in establishing overseas markets for its products, either by establishing subsidiaries or by creating new sales channels and strategic partnerships. Eventus Global also advises European plastics and plastics equipment companies in establishing U.S. subsidiaries or improving existing ones. Braig is also offering his services to more established companies with board of directors and advisory board assignments.
